I Am Entirely Me For Once

Break my bones 

As you dismantle me.

Ego attempts to hide 

As cages collapse.


Ego strives to disappear.

Surrendering the  tower to nothing

The emergence of night

Makes me feel undone.


Entangled myths

The tales I have heard.

Perfectly sewn patterns

Suddenly became unsewn.


Skin, bone, and fabric structure.

Lies that reverberate 

Within this armour were present.

Yet this.


Uncaged deceptions disappear 

In clear light.

For the reunion of truth 

And I, simplicity unravels.


Unconstrained and unfettered 

Break of Dawn 

A tower of heart

I am entirely Me for once.
